About the farm:
I'm Suzie Dudas, a self-taught, one-woman farmer. Nestled within an old palm tree farm, my 10-acre property is home to a diverse mix of livestock, gardens, and tropical agriculture. What began as a personal homestead has grown into a working educational and regenerative farm dedicated to local food production, hands-on learning, and preserving the connection between people and agriculture.
I raise cows for both milk and meat production, along with pigs and chickens for meat and eggs. I'm also currently experimenting with sheep for lamb production as part of my ongoing commitment to diversified and sustainable farming practices. Across the farm, you'll find annual and perennial vegetable gardens as well as tropical fruit plantings that showcase seasonal growing, regenerative soil stewardship, and small-scale food production adapted to South Florida's unique climate.

Farm Products & Store
I raise cows for both milk and meat production and proudly provide raw cow dairy directly from the farm. I also raise chickens for eggs and poultry, all fed a non-GMO, soy-free diet. In addition, I am the area's only local source of truly clean pork, raising pastured pigs on a non-GMO, soy-free feed program. My commitment is simple: produce food the way I would want it raised for my own family.
Beyond what I grow and raise myself, my farm store features products from other local small-scale producers whose values align with mine. Every item I carry is something I would personally purchase and serve to my own family, allowing customers to support multiple local farms and artisans in one place.

The Future...
Following the loss of my children, the purpose of this farm deepened significantly. What began as a personal homestead transformed into a mission centered on healing, education, nourishment, and creating meaningful experiences for children and families. The farm became a place where grief could be transformed into service, connection, and hope for others.
Today, I am transitioning the property from primarily individual use into a more commercial and educational agricultural operation with the goal of feeding and serving more children and families throughout our community. Through farm tours, educational programs, hands-on experiences, and access to clean local food, I hope to reconnect people with agriculture and help them better understand where their food comes from. The non-profit arm of the farm Nourishing Food For Thought is where you will find the education, classes, workshops, markets, farm to table meals & community events.

Operating within a densely populated coastal urban area where many small farms have disappeared due to development pressures and rising land values, I believe preserving farmland is more important than ever. By maintaining this farm in the heart of a heavily urbanized region, I hope to demonstrate that agriculture still has an essential place within local communities.

My goal is not only to produce food, but to inspire future generations to value farming, understand the importance of local food systems, and feel empowered to support—or even participate in—small-scale agriculture themselves. Through education, stewardship, and community engagement, I hope this farm will continue serving as a place of learning, nourishment, healing, and connection for years to come.
